KISS rocker Gene Simmons finally said his ‘I Dos’ to longtime love Shannon Tweed on Saturday, according to new reports, in Beverly Hills after being together for 28 years!
“I’m going to get married today,” Shannon wrote on her Twitter hours before the ceremony, “To the man I love!”
E! Online reports that the couple wed in front of 400 guests, including Playboy’s Hugh Hefner, with the blushing bride clad in a dress by Priscilla of Boston.
“The Gene Simmons-Shannon Tweed wedding was a very romantic, family affair,” the wedding guest tweeted shortly after the ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Fellow attendee Bill Maher echoed Hugh’s cheerful sentiments about the fete, which Gene’s children Nick and Sophie Tweed-Simmons helped to organize for their now officially married parents.
