George Lopez has been a good friend to Sandra Bullock while she went through her divorce from Jesse James and now it's her turn to repay the favor. George and his wife Ann Lopez have decided to split up.

"George and Ann Lopez have made the decision to end their 17-year marriage," the couple's rep said in a statement to Extra. "The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement."

George married Ann in 1993 and in 2005 Ann donated one of her kidneys to George due to a genetic condition the talk show host suffered from.
They have a 15-year-old daughter together.
