George Clooney and Brad Pitt are among many stars who performed on Saturday night in L.A. to support gay marriage.

Jane Lynch, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Martin Sheen and several other celebs took the stage for a reading of Dustin Lance Black's play, 8, at the Wilshire Ebeil Theatre.

The play is about the federal court case to overturn California's Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage.
It was a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Equal Rights. Chris Colfer, Christina Lahti, Matt Bomer, George Takei, Matthew Morrison, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and John C. Reilly also participated on stage.
