George Clooney's Movie Clash

Sept. 30 2009, Published 1:32 p.m. ET
George Clooney is set for a box office battle - against himself! The silver fox's new movie The Men Who Stare at Goats (a dark comedy set in Iraq) is being released on Nov. 6, but Up in the Air — lighter fare in which he plays a businessman who meets the woman of his dreams through his frequent-flyer program — is opening in theaters on Nov. 13.
The Hollywood Reporter says that producers for Men Who Stare at Goats will not change the release date, leaving the opening of the second movie — which was the talk of the Toronto International Film Festival — "up in the air". Only time will reveal which Clooney classic will come out on top.
