According to new reports, Gerard was being treated at the Betty Ford Center. The actor, 42, reportedly checked himself in three weeks ago.
Gerard allegedly has struggled with pain medication for several years due to injuries he suffered on the set of 300 and more recently working on Of Men and Mavericks.

He was hospitalized back in December after he was involved in a surfing accident on set of his new film.

Gerard's rep, Rupert Fowler, released a statement saying, "Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health. We will not be making any further comment at this time."
