To complement her stunning Valentino gown with its high-neckline, Gwyneth Paltrow's hair guru David Babaii gave her an updated Grace Kelly 'do with a full, voluminous ponytail for the 'PUNK: Chaos to Couture' Costume Institute Gala on Monday night. “Gwyneth is the modern Grace Kelly, she is so elegant, we wanted to have a swept away look with more volume that complements her beauty,” says. The stylist was kind enough to offer tips on how you can achieve the look at home.

• David starts with wet hair, then blow dries using the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Hair Dryer.

• He then uses hair spray to add texture. David suggests applying hairspray wiht a toothbrush, moving it in an upward motion around the hairline away from the face. "Let chaos rule the rest," he says.
