Giuliana Rancic Reveals New Business Deals & Son Duke’s Biggest Talent!
Giuliana Rancic was juggling her full-time E! News job in Los Angeles and her family life in Chicago for years, then she decided to make a change. Now, the former anchor is busier than ever running her many businesses (or as she likes to call them “passion projects”) and spending quality time with son Duke and husband Bill Rancic!
OKMagazine.com spoke with Giuliana about her participation in Red Nose Day and her many ongoing and upcoming projects. The second annual Red Nose Day is happening the U.S. which helps raise funds to fight kids’ poverty. Giuliana described it as a “great way to give back” by buying the funny Red Noses for $1 or any of the new “Red Flair” which includes, hats, sunglasses, bow-ties, and beads for up to $6, all sold exclusively at Walgreens and Duane Reade locations across the country.
This charity strikes a chord in the young mom particularly—“It’s about supporting projects that keep kids and young people stay healthy and safe and educated.”
“Today I’m happy and healthy but almost five years ago it was a different story,” she continued. “I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was 36. It was a very scary time in my life.”
She wants to use her platform “to let people know about things that can change people’s lives or save people’s lives is very empowering and I see it as a real privilege.” The program also allows her to talk about issues with Duke in simple terms. She can teach him that he’s doing something good for other kids out there who are struggling.
