Amber has been booked to perform in Cotton Club Parade a musical centered around the rise of Duke Ellington and Harlem's famed Cotton Club in the '20s and '30s. She'll perform from Nov. 14-18 in Manhattan's City Center, alongside Tony-nominee Brandon Victor Dixon, Jared Grimes and Tony-winner Adriane Lenox.
While the actress has performed on stage before (“Mystery on the Docks” with the Los Angeles Opera) this will be her Big Apple debut.
Amber made headlines this May when she mysteriously collapsed while being interviewed during a Glee event on the red carpet. The good-natured performer later tweeted that she's still a newbie when it comes to all the bright lights and chaos of big events.
