Boy, Glee can sure fit a lot into one hour and quite a serious hour it was.
Of course, it is time for Regionals. And all the members of New Directions and The Warblers are stressing out and aiming to win. However, there is no one that plays dirty more than Sebastian (Grant Gustin).
In an attempt to win, he tries to blackmail Rachel (Lea Michele) into dropping out by threatening to post doctored photos of her fiancé Finn (Cory Monteith) all over the Internet. However, they won't take this lying down. Blaine (Darren Criss) is the most pissed off all after Sebastian almost blinded him.

Letting out his frustrations, Blaine sings "Cough Syrup" to Kurt (Chris Colfer) as we get a glimpse into Dave Karofsky's (Max Adler) life since one of this classmates spotted him at Breadsticks with Kurt. They begin terrorizing him about being gay, and sadly, he can't handle it.
As Blaine continues to sing, we are shockingly forced to watch Karofsky try to kill himself by hanging himself in his closet.
Glee is definitely not a show that hides away from the tough issues even teen gay suicide. This message is especially moving with the full circle Karofsky took as he was once the one bullying the gay kid.
Luckily, he survived. But it made Kurt question his idea of not believing in God and the Glee kids all gathered with Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) to talk about what they saw for themselves in the future and to focus on that. Blaine even said he wanted all the states in the U.S. to legalize gay marriage as Kurt smiled at him. Klaine fans go: Awwww.
This tough subject even affected Sebastian and Grant did an amazing job conveying those true emotions and showed how human he really is. Sebastian realized that he needed to change his ways since he has been quite a bully as well. And promised he wouldn't blackmail Rachel and Finn anymore. Now he wants Regionals to be a fair fight.

But the best moment of the show had to be Kurt visiting Karofsky in the hospital. How the tables have turned since Kurt was the one being tormented. The emotion exuded from both Chris and Max in this moment gave you chills. "I'm really happy that you're alive, David," said Kurt. "Yeah, me too," replies Karofsky. Dave Karofsky looked so broken and just broke your heart.
But let's not forget about Regionals. Fight is exactly what The Warblers did since the third group of the Golden Goblets was no competition. With a rendition of "Stand" and "Glad You Came" they had us worried for the New Directions. But that all melted away with McKinley High Kids' performance of "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You (Stronger)", "Fly/I Believe I Can Fly" and "Here's To Us."
However, it seems kind of weird to not having the guys sing the last part. I guess Rachel always needs that center stage. But they still blew it away. Would they tie again? Nope! New Directions won! On to Nationals they go!
And what a busy night that was lying ahead of celebration, and Finn and Rachel decided they wanted to get married right after the competition. We just don't see what the rush is. But even their parents couldn't talk them out of it!
And after Quinn (Dianna Agron) realizes that everyone needs to live life to the fullest, she askes Coach Sylvester (Jane Lynch, who announces she Coach Sylvester is pregnant!), if she can rejoin the Cheerios and agrees to be in the wedding.
But all does not end well. As Quinn goes home to get her bridesmaid dress, Rachel keeps texting her so they can get the ceremony started. But yet another Glee lesson to not text and drive, as Quinn is driving and is texting Rachel back, and then a car smashes clear into Quinn's side of the car!
To be continued..... What a cliffhanger! And the show doesn't return until April 10!
What did you think of Glee's winter finale? Do you believe it sent a good message?
