Golden Globes Nominations 2012: 'The Artist' Leads With Six; 'The Help' & 'The Descendants' Claim Five

The 69th Annual Golden Globes nominees were announced this morning and some of the biggest SAG Award snubs have earned their recognition now!

Ryan Gosling snagged two Golden Globe nominations and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo wasn't overlooked either.

And take a look at the nominees for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama! Is that not the hottest category you've ever seen?

As for TV, New Girl earned a nomination and American Horror Story made more of a presence to keep fans happy.

However, the leaders of the nominations are The Artist with six and The Help and The Descendants tied with five.

The nominees were announced this morning on Today by Gerard Butler, Sofia Vergara, Rashida Jones and Woody Harrelson.

Gerard announced the nominees for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama and the press joked, "Did you leave one name off of there?"

"It's so weird," Gerard joked.
