Kate Gosselin's return to her role as reality TV mom in Kate Plus Eight looks like it will be another hit for TLC — a success that reportedly has the mom and her plus eight brood on track to earn around $700,000.

While Kate is raking in the big bucks, Jon is still under contract with TLC, but not part of the show and according to PopEater, the reality TV dad is earning just over $70,000 to stay away.

"The reason you don't see Jon looking for a job or doing embarrassing interviews is that he is still on the TLC payroll," a source told PopEater. "Jon is basically getting paid to keep his mouth shut and go away. Although it must sting him to know his kids are earning more money than he is."

So how much more do the kiddies make than daddy?

According to PopEater, the Gosselin sextuplets and twins allegedly make $200,000 of the $700,000 given to the family.

Therefore, Kate bring in $500,000 for the tapings.

Kate also took in another $500K for her five week stint on Dancing With the Stars.

The mom has repeatedly told the media that all her earnings will be put away for her kids' future. Looks like 2010 is going to be a big earning/saving year!
