NEWS'Gossip Girl' Hottie Chace Crawford "Hated Modeling"

So you think Chace Crawford is hot, do you? The Gossip Girl star with the chiseled chin thinks so, too — or at least he realizes his natural appeal. “I’m not ignorant to the fact that part of the reason why the show’s popular and part of the reason why people want to see it is to be like, ‘Oh, novelty boy! Hot boy! Pretty boy!’ ” Chace tells WWD Beauty Biz. Beautiful though he may be, Chace swears he wasn't drawn right to the drama crowd.
"I wasn’t, like, Johnny Theater in high school," he explains. "I was into sports. I was good at math. I was doing photography. I had my hand in a lot of different cliques.”
Those good looks didn't send him running to modeling, either, although he did some catalogue work in Dallas "Just to make some extra money. I hated modeling,” he insists.
There is a downside to all that gorgeousness, however, as Chace details his beauty routine for Gossip Girl.

“’I have to be completely impeccably, annoyingly clean shaven." he says.
