'Gossip Girl' Tika Sumpter 'Excited About Music Right Now'

Joining Hollywood A-Lister Gwyneth Paltrow Wednesday night, actress Tika Sumpter showed her support for bringing yoga to inner city schools at the Bend for Education benefit, sponsored by alice + olivia. Taking some fashion pointers from her Gossip Girl role as fashion forward Raina Thorpe, Tika showed OK! how yoga makes for a red carpet ready body.
When it comes to dating, turns out celebrities don’t always have it easy too! Tika divulged, “My friends are trying to hook me up on dates, so we’ll see what happens.” Despite appearing on GG as Chuck Bass’ former love, Tika confesses when someone assumed she probably had "like five boyfriends,” she replied, “Oh, I wish I had five boyfriends.”

However, when it comes to work, Tika is quite the busy starlet. When OK! asked what was next for the rising celeb, she revealed, “I just got out of the studio today, working on music and I’m so excited about it.”
Excited about her new venture into music, Tika revealed some behind-the-scenes details! “Now I’m working with an amazing woman – she was an executive at Sony – so now people are really getting excited and I’m excited about music right now.”
