On Nov. 10, little Rocco Ritchie and David Banda met up with their dad, Guy Ritchie, at London's Gatwick Airport--and the scene proved to be an emotional one for the 40-year-old RockNRolla director.

"The children were excited and happy to see him," an eyewitness tells OK!. "Guy was holding Rocco and, at one point, it looked like he was holding back tears."

During their time in L.A., the kids were kept active by their mother, Madonna, who enrolled Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, 8, at Debbie Allen's Dance Studio in Culver City. "They were both here on Nov. 5 for the 4:15 p.m. ballet class," says an academy source.
Let's hope the kids have more success than their Material Girl mom! In 1982, an unknown Madonna auditioned for a part on the TV show Fame--which starred Debbie Allen as a dance instructor--and didn't get the part!
