Oscar-winning actress, singer, mom — and now Gwyneth Paltrow can add peacemaker to her extensive repertoire. Thanks to Gwyn's mediating skills the feud between Kings of Leon and Glee creator Ryan Murphy has reportedly ended.
A source close to the situation tells The Hollywood Reporter that Gwyneth — a star close to the Glee crew as she is one of the most popular guest stars the hit FOX show has had to date — helped start the truce via text messages between the warring parties and both sides of have apologized and “it’s all good now.”
Reportedly, proof that relations have now improved between the dueling parties happened last Sunday on the Grammys red carpet when Matthew Morrison approached KOL, telling the band that he and the show’s cast, “love Kings of Leon!”
Then Glee cast members Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet stopped by the King's private after-Grammy party at Trousdale and Darren was spotted belting out the lyrics to KOL’s “Sex on Fire.”

How did the feud start?
After KOL turned down the Glee squad's request to feature their hit “Use Somebody,” Murphy responded “F--- you, Kings of Leon,” and accused them of disregarding arts education, in an issue of THR.
While frontman Caleb Followill responded their decline “was never meant as a slap in the face to Glee or to music education or to fans of the show," drummer Nathan Followill went one step further and fired back on Twitter, telling Ryan he should “buy a new bra" and the rant ensued.
