Esquire magazine has gone and ahead and stated the obvious, naming Halle Berry the sexiest woman alive in their November issue.
The Oscar award winner, who gave birth to daughter Nahla in March, poses in the issue in a steamy spread, wearing a lacy bra and sheer tank top in many of the pics.

''I don't know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it,'' she tells the magazine.
But despite her scantily-clad photos, Halle insists that being sexy is about much more than looks.
"Sexiness is a state of mind – a comfortable state of being,'' she says. ''It's about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments.''
And although the stunning actress stands alone to accept the award, she doesn't want to keep it all for herself, adding, ''I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment."
