Happy 30th Birthday, Kate Middleton!

Oh, what a year she has had! Not only did Kate Middleton (ahem, the Duchess of Cambridge) tie the knot with Prince William less than a year ago, but also she can now add another milestone to her list: turning 30!

NEWS: DUCHESS KATE SELECTS FAVORITE CHARITIES After attending the film premiere for War Horse and dazzling the red carpet yet again, Kate celebrated turning the big three-oh in private.  As she becomes increasingly more comfortable in the public eye, as pointed out by the Associated Press, palace officials said her birthday celebration was essentially a "low-key and private" affair.  Robert Johnson, author of William and Kate: The Love Story, dished, "She's done very well, playing a very good supporting role to Prince William and contemplating him as part of a team." He added, "We've not seen much of her, but when she's in public, she has performed with aplomb." OK!
