Heather Locklear and David Spade's TV Hookup

“Good friends” and are officially a couple — on television.

The TV veteran has signed on to guest star in two episodes of the upcoming season of David’s CBS comedy Rules of Engagement, the network confirms.

Heather will play Audrey’s () older sister, Barbara, who drops two bombshells on little sis during her visit — she’s splitting up with her husband and is getting back in the dating game with David’s perpetual singleton, Russell.

Long rumored last year to have been a pair, Heather and David downplayed the reports, claiming to just be close buddies. The actress has been dating fellow Melrose Place alum since this spring.

Rules of Engagement returns for its second season on Monday, Sept. 24, at 9:30 p.m.
