Heidi Klum and Seal have always been portrayed as the ideal, picture-perfect husband and wife — but behind the scenes, their seven-year marriage was wrecked by his explosive temper, claims a source close to the couple.

"Heidi has long been concerned with Seal's rage and anger management issues," the source tells Star.
The "Kiss From a Rose" singer, 48 — who was arrested in London in the 1980s for dealing pot and promoting prostitution by placing hookers' numbers in pubic phone booths — has admitted in the past that his late father, Francis Samuel, would beat him with "whips, belts and fists, whatever was handy," when he was a youngster, and that the emotional pain is "not something you outlive... it's always with you."
