Hilary Duff seems to have found the perfect boyfriend in Mike Comrie: athletic, dedicated to charity and romantic!
At an event for Blessings in a Backpack on Oct. 24 at P.S. 15, Roberto Clemente Elementary School, Hilary spoke openly about how excited she is to have found someone to share her passion for charity with.
"I am so thankful for that day that I met him and all the people we've gotten to feed together," she says of working with Mike on the charity, which distributes food to needy kids before they go home for the weekend.
Not only does Mike, a hockey player for the New York Islanders, share her love of helping others, he's also got a way with words when it comes to the Duffster.
"He does special things all the time and surprises me," she tells OK!. "On my birthday, there was a very small group of us, and he got up and read a poem. It was like a funny poem, it wasn’t like super serious. It was so cute!"
