The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Money

Ever wonder how much Kristin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Speidi and the rest of the gang make for offering up their pretty faces for the reality TV cameras on The Hills? Now you can find out.
While Lauren was still on the show, she reportedly demanded that no one else make as much as she did -- $125,000 per episode, or around $2.5 million a year, according to The Daily Beast.
Her replacement, Kristin, will have a slightly smaller salary at $90,000 an episode, according to a person with knowledge of the show’s contracts.
Being best pals with LC really paid off for some supporting cast members like Audrina and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, and even frenemy Heidi Montag, who all pulled in $100,000 a show.
Heidi's hubby Spencer Pratt comes cheaper than his wife, at $65,000, and hunky pal Brody Jenner costs even less -- $45,000 per episode.
Add in personal appearances on their own time at around $20,000 a pop on average, and The Hills really are alive with the sound of clanging cash registers!
