Howie Mandel won't sing at the Emmys

Here’s something Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel won’t be doing as he co-hosts this year’s Primetime Emmys.
“No, I’m not going to sing in the opening. That alone is worth tuning in for,” he declares.
Not that Howie wouldn’t be willing to take on a lyrical opening.
“Yes, I'd be willing. Now would the audience be willing to listen to me, no,” he laughs.
Maybe fellow co-host and nominee Heidi Klum will step up to the musical plate!
Howie also defends why he’s properly placed as a nominee in the Outstanding Reality/Competition Host category.
“Deal or No Deal is much more than just a game,” he says.
“The contestants have to make big decisions on our show, and unlike the others, they get to vote themselves off if they take a deal.
“They are heartfelt moments when we have reunions and we hear their family members. It’s very real and unscripted and you can see a life change before your eyes. There’s no better real competition than trying to change your life.”
