Police confirmed to E! News that they received a domestic-violence call from Marston and Claire's home in Pasedina, Calif., late Sunday night.
Claire suffered minor injuries, and Marston was taken into custody and charged with battery of a spouse. The 21-year-old son of Hugh is not married to Claire, but under state law, a cohabitant can be considered a spouse.

In 2011, Claire said in an interview that her relationship with Marston was "tumultuous, to tell the truth."
However, she added, "We're really good friends when it comes down to it."
But when asked if there would be wedding bells soon, she said, "Hell no!"
Marston was released a few hours later on $20,000 bail. A court date has not yet been set.
