Fighting robots or political drama?
The choice was easy for moviegoers this weekend, as Real Steel placed first and The Ides of March placed second at the box office.
Hugh teamed up with young star Dakota Goyo for the DreamWorks film, which was executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, MTV News reports. The movie had an estimated $110 million budget, so it's a very good thing it earned $27.3 million this weekend!
The Ides of March, on the other hand, which was directed and co-written by George himself and co-stars Ryan Gosling, only opened to $10.4 million.
With handsome men George and Ryan in the film together, we're a little surprised it didn't do better!
