Despite two earlier big-screen versions of Richard Matheson’s 1954 novel, audiences are in for quite a surprise with this latest adaptation. Immune to a virus that has killed almost all of mankind, Robert Neville (Smith) is left behind to wander the bare city streets during the day and take cover from deadly infected creatures at night. Thrills and chills abound, and Smith does an amazing job in this virtually one-man show.
