On The season finale of I Want to Work For Diddy, the mogul himself chose Suzanne Siegel and Mike Barber, both from Bronx, N.Y. -- holla! -- to come work for him as his newest assistants. Yeah, like one person alone would be able to handle the job!
I caught up with the dynamic duo to find out what it’s like to be the newest employees at Bad Boy Entertainment.
How does it feel to be Diddy’s new assistants?
MIKE: We haven’t started working yet! But nine o’clock this morning I gave a call to Bad Boy Human Resources and asked am I supposed to be at work right now.
What was the first thing that went through your mind when Diddy called your name, Suzanne?
The first thing was, “It’s not Mike? It’s supposed to be Mike, he deserves this.” I also felt, "Is this real?" and all the clichés that this is the greatest moment of my life. But something didn’t feel right. Something was missing. Mike was missing. But Diddy rectified that. He told the pilot to stop, and he came and took Mike on the plane. That’s when it became the perfect moment.
What really went through your mind when Suzanne was called first, Mike?
I was upset, I can’t front. But I was really happy for her. We were there holding hands. When he picked her, I was heartbroken, but Suzanne waved at me through the window and I thought, “Girl, you got this.” And I planned to show up at Bad Boy the next morning with a resume!
What do you think you’ll be doing for Diddy?
MIKE: The women at the front desk pretty much organize his life. And for Suzanne, I think that’s a quality that he loves about her. I think she’ll do an excellent job at that.
SUZANNE: No one hustles like Mike. How many times did you see that man running? I think Diddy’s going to have him out there, representing for him, that’s what I see, but we can’t second-guess the man!
MIKE: Whatever job he puts us in, we’re going to do well together.
What was your hardest challenge during the season?
SUZANNE: I think it was the first challenge because I didn’t know what I was in for. We were running around New York City for 24 hours of intense insanity doing those tasks, and it hit me that this job is really the hardest job in the world and I was unprepared. But I learned that this is what life is like inside the Bad Boy empire, and I have to toughen up to do this.

MIKE: Dealing with him in that last challenge for the concert. When he’s away and you’re doing things for him, you want to step up and bring your A game, but there’s not that much pressure because you’re not in front of him. But when you are… He was looking at me running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and it was hard.
Two words: Pop-rah!
MIKE: I want change it back to Kim Kearney. She wanted to be mixture of Puff and Oprah. She really didn’t show that. She threw integrity out of the window to try to get what she wanted. I think she had a vision, but she was driven by the wrong emotions.
SUZANNE: I got pray for her and send her love. Mike and I, two kids from the Bronx, tried to win this with respect and humility, and it worked. You didn’t see the poison coming from our mouths. At the end of the day, I feel like justice prevailed.
Any advice for people who may work for Diddy in the future?
MIKE: Go in there with the vision that you already have the job, that it’s already yours. Integrity is huge, so go in there, have that desire and vision and you can do it.
SUZANNE: Breathe, believe in yourself and know that you are working for a higher cause. Stay calm under pressure.
MIKE: And humble yourself. Understand you are working for a mogul.
SUZANNE: Put that first!
