In a surprising live results show, rainbow-haired rocker chick was eliminated from American Idol last night. The 22-year-old singer from Naperville, Ill., underwhelmed the judges during her performance of Smile on Tuesday night's classics-themed show, where the hopefuls were tutored by legendary crooner Tony Bennett. Before her eviction was announced, Gina was placed in the bottom three vote-getters with Haley Scarnato and Phil Stacey, both of whom survived to sing another week.Speaking of surviving, Sanjaya Malakar, whose lack of charisma and vocal talent (as well as his hairstyle choices) has left the judges speechless in recent weeks, continues his unprecedented run in the finals, placing in the middle three group of vote-getters with Chris Richardson and Blake Lewis. Meanwhile, the top vote-earners of the week were the show's reigning divas: Melinda Doolittle, LaKisha Jones and 17-year-old Jordin Sparks, who many think has a chance of being this season's dark-horse winner.
