Things have not been easy for Teen Mom Farrah Abraham. First, she had lost the father of her baby, Derek Underwood, in a car accident — two months before Sophia was born. Next, she lost her parents' support. But Farrah's friend, Kristina Lee tells OK! she "working on" her relationship with her mom Debra Danielson.

After Sophia's birth, Debra frequently berated her daughter, and their contentious relationship ultimately exploded in a physical altercation. The result of which was the arrest and sentencing to community service for Debra.

But Farrah and Debra's relationship is improving thanks to counseling.
"It's getting so much better; they're working on things. It's so nice to see," Kristina tells OK!, noting that Debra sees Farrah and Sophia often.
"Everything's coming together for her because she had a really rough few months there."
