All the drama stirred up by Jon, Kate, and their litter of little Gosselins is nothing compared to what Kody Brown and his multitude of wives have stirred up in the few weeks TLC's latest hit show Sister Wives has been on. The reality show follows Kody and his three wives as he prepares for a fourth wedding. But apparently when it comes to marriage three's company and four's a crowd. This week's issue of OK! looks into why Kody's marriage to newest wife Robyn is causing the others such distress and what makes them stay.

It appears as though Kody had the whole polygamy thing down, managing to keep his first three wives, Meri, Janelle and Christine, happy — that is, until his summer wedding to Robyn changed everything.

"Kody's been dividing his time fairly between the first three wives for 16 years and now he's spending whole weekends with Robyn," a close family friend tells OK!. "They are hurting. First wife Meri most of all. She's a wreck."

And Meri's not the only one. Wife No. 3 Christine also "freaked out" about the new couple when she learned that Kody and Robyn had kissed before their wedding, a rule he had not broken with his first three wives.

"It was devastating," Christine fumed. "We didn't kiss until over the altar because I didn't feel right about kissing a married man."

A lot of the wives' issues stem from the strong sexual chemistry Kody shares with Robyn. A guest at their wedding described Kody as being "downright hot for her," but it seems as though this lust is tearing his family apart.
