NEWS'This Is It' Makes $2.2 Million on Opening Night

Chart-topper Michael Jackson is set to do it again — with the behind-the-scenes documentary of his final concert series, This Is It.
Michael Jackson's This Is It took in $2.2 million in the U.S. from its first few late-night screenings on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The film premiered to wider audiences yesterday.
The film is expected to become a thriller at the box office and take the No. 1 slot this weekend.
