It's All Smiles & Spider-Man for Kate Hudson & Ryder

Kate Hudson was spotted picking up her son Ryder from school in Santa Monica, Calif. on Wednesday. The Acadamy Award-nominee sported some stylish stilettos as she strut down the street with her son holding his backpack, crackers, and Spider-Man lunchbox. Kate couldn't keep a smile off her face as she and Ryder headed down the sidewalk together.

Ryder is Kate's son with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, the frontman of The Black Crowes. The couple married in 2000 and had Ryder in 2004. Unfortunately, only two years later Kate and Chris separated, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Now, Kate is dating Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. But it's clear by these pictures that the real frontman in Kate's life will always be Ryder.
