Ivanka Trump Keeping Baby’s Sex Secret?

Although it’s been reported that Ivanka Trump is expecting a girl, The Apprentice star is not ready to go public with the information this week during the Ivanka Trump Footwear launch at Macy’s in NYC.“I haven’t confirmed that,” the married model, 29, tells me. “That is the news out there.” Chuckles erupt from her inner circle stationed throughout in the room, but I respect her decision to keep it private. “Either people will be shocked or not at all,” she shrugs. When it comes to naming conventions, Ivanka has devised a plan with publisher hubby Jared Kusher, whom she wed in 2009. “For a boy, more traditional, and for a girl, I like more exotic names,” she explains, asking to change the subject. Considering the svelte star is barely showing in her form-fitting black dress, she finds the ease of her pregnancy experience to be surprising. “I think I didn’t expect for me to feel so good,” she says. “You hear horror stories, and certainly I have from so many of my friends, about how sick they felt, for at least the first few months. I really didn’t experience any of that, so I feel like I’m very fortunate. But no, it’s been really nice.” She adds, “The biggest anxiety relates to ‘what happens after the baby’s born?’ and psychologically imagining the lifestyle change. But that’s also the exciting part.” For Ivanka, becoming a mom will add a new facet to a life that includes starring on a reality show, managing several accessory lines and serving as executive vice president of development and acquisitions at The Trump Organization. “I don’t ever think about planning to balance,” she says. “I barely balance to begin with, but I’m going to do my best. laughs” Although Ivanka could’ve kicked back and relaxed lapping up the lifestyle afforded her by her famous father and successful husband, she is ambitious, hard-working and grounded – traits she hopes to pass on to her own children. “I spend a lot of time thinking about values I want to instill in the baby, and adolescent, when it gets a little bit harder. I think obviously giving a sense of purpose, a sense of work ethic, and generally teaching it not to take anything for granted. I recognize my baby as being born into very fortunate circumstances, and I hope the baby recognizes that as well and is grateful.” Until the baby arrives, Ivanka is enjoying special attention from her hubby. “He always spoils me, but particularly so now.
