NEWSJ Rome Wins First Season of 'Duets!'

Last night the first season of Duets wound down in grand fashion as Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Nettles kicked off the show by singing a duet to the Eurythmics' hit, "Would I Lie to You?" Although Jason Farol, John Glosson and J Rome battled right down to the wire, J Rome took home the final prize!

The hour-long finale featured his duet with Jennifer to the DeBarge hit from 1980, "Rhythm of the Night." Now that J Rome has been crowned the victor, he'll ink a deal with Hollywood Records.

In addition to the final competition, the evening highlighted performances from eliminated contestants such as Bridget Carrington. She and John Legend sang the Rolling Stones' track, "Gimme Shelter," and Olivia Chisolm sang with Robin Thicke to Ray Charles' song, "Fever."
