Two of the most memorable stories from the American Idol auditions, James Durbin and Chris Medina, were back last night for the beginning of Hollywood week.

Chris shared his story during his audition about his fiancée, who suffered a traumatic brain injury after an accident shortly before they were planning to marry.
And Steve Tyler remembered the story well.
He asked Chris, "How's Julie?"
"Thanks for asking," Chris said. "She's getting better every day. She's an inspiration to me every day. She keeps trying every day. She's incredible."
Another touching story was the one James shared. The 21-year-old is a father to a young child and was diagnosed with Tourette's and Asperger's syndromes at an early age.
