If it's a girl, will he name her Joey?: James Van Der Beek confirmed on his Twitter account today that he and his model girlfriend, Kimberly Brook, are expecting a bundle of joy!

He Tweeted: "Yes, it's true - the woman I love and I are expecting our first child... currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed."

And this new baby won't be born into a hostile family situation, as James and his ex-wife Heather McComb are friendly, after reaching a divorce to end their marriage of six years.

"James, Kim and James' ex, Heather, are all amicable and on good terms," a source tells E! News. "The three of them have all hung out together. James and Kim are superhappy about the baby. They are above and beyond thrilled. They are the happiest couple ever."
