Glee star Jane Lynch casually mentioned to the New York Times following the Golden Globes last week that she and her partner, Dr. Lara Embry, are tying the knot in May!

The NYT's' Carpetbagger blog reported, "Jane Lynch, who saw her Fox show 'Glee' win a Golden Globe and who told us she was marrying her partner, Lara, in May, summed up the night's victories for Fox: 'It's good to be on the winning team.'"

Jane, coach Sue Sylvester, also won a Screen Actors Guild Award over the weekend!

Lynch and Embry met at a National Center for Lesbian Rights event in May 2009. Lynch was there to introduce The L Word creator Ilene Chaiken and Embry was there to receive an award, PopEater reports.

Last year, Embry, a psychologist, became known after a custody battle she had with a former partner over their two children. In the end, Florida Courts decided the two should continue to share custody.
