Doing a wonderful job as the host of last year’s Do Something Awards, Glee’s Jane Lynch has been confirmed yet again to take the stage for the much-anticipated 2011 VH1 awards show, honoring young celebrities who work with various causes and charities.
“We’re thrilled to once again present the Do Something Awards as we honor this year’s amazing nominees with our host Jane Lynch,” Tom Calderone, President of VH1, explained in a press release this week.

Jane couldn’t be a better fit for the Aug. 18 awards show, as she is used to working with and inspiring young adults, playing the role of high school coach Sue Sylvester on Fox's hit series Glee.
But, besides that, “Jane Lynch is a bad**s, which is why we love her,” Nancy Lublin, CEO at DoSomething.org explained as to why Jane makes such a great host.
