Speculation began at the beginning of the DWTS season, after the two posted photos on Instagram, leading many to believe there’s chemistry off the dance floor too.

But now we know the truth—or do we?
Access Hollywood Live made the partners take a lie detector test to reveal the truth, but the results were a bit murky.
When the hosts asked the Pretty Little Liars star if she has romantic feelings for Val, she said “No.” But the lie detector test didn’t work and the truth remains to be seen.

But when Val, who says he never lies, was asked the same question, he responded, “Yes!”
Right after, the partners were asked if they were dating, and both Janel and Val said “No”—just before Val put his arms around Janel and kissed her!
They’re not the only ones who have become smitten from the show. Bethany Mota and Derek Hough have been on fire week-to-week on Dancing With The Stars but things may be heating up in their personal lives, too.
