Jason surprised the students at Bronx Guild High School as part of the national Rock the Vote program.
Democracy class is a one-class-period program that uses video, pop culture, classroom discussion and a mock election to teach students the proper skills to be able to understand the election progress better and to promote voting.
None of the students believed that the "Ridin' Solo" singer was actually coming to their school! One female student became so excited she started to cry when he sang.
