Javier Colon had the privilege of performing with rock royalty last night. The Voice winner collaborated with Stevie Nicks before his coronation during last night's finale.

"I told Stevie Nicks I wasn't gonna cry on national television," Javier's mentor, judge Adam Levine said after the duet. "I'm not going to cry. I'm going to get through that. That was the coolest thing you have ever done, other than getting married and having kids all that. I'm pretty speechless. That was one of the most beautiful duets I've ever heard in my life."

Javier was blown away by the magnitude of performing with someone of Stevie's status.

"I almost lost it in rehearsals," Javier told reporters of working with the music legend. "The first time I sang with her, we were kind of huddled in a circle, we didn’t have microphones yet. We were just going over the parts and stuff. I was really kind of nervous cause I was like, ‘Oh my God I have to sing this with Stevie Nicks. I hope I sing my part right’ and she sang this song 20,000 times and I’m like the new guy, I got to do the right thing."

He said despite the nerves, it all worked out.

"I realized I’m singing this beautiful song with Stevie Nicks, and it hit me when we started singing, “Well I’ve been…” That part right there, I just got really choked up and I had to pull it together, can’t cry in front of Stevie Nicks, because she’d want you to sing right now, and you got to do what she wants you to do, and that’s sing, not cry," Javier shared. "It was amazing, it’s something that I will never be able to top that just happened."
