Javier Takes His Oscar for a Dance

A few hours after Javier Bardem was honored by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences with a Best Supporting Actor award, the Spanish star was celebrating his victory with girlfriend Penélope Cruz and his new best friend — Oscar.
The hunky actor, who won for his unforgettable role (and regretable haircut) in No Country for Old Men, took his new best buddy out for a little spin on the dance floor at the Miramax party at Bar Marmont. Ironically, the tune he picked to dance to was "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by The Rolling Stones.

And while Javier was enjoying cutting a rug with his Oscar statuette, Penélope was busy introducing the actor's mom to the other A-listers at the party.
It was a big night Javier and his No Country for Old Men cast and crew. Not only did he win, but so did the script (Best Adapted Screenplay), the directors (Joel and Ethan Coen) and the film itself for Best Picture.
The Spanish stud was also not alone as the only non-American winner on Sunday night. In fact, all four of the major acting awards were handed out to thespians from outside our borders, with French beauty Marion Cotillard winning for Best Actress, and Brits Daniel Day-Lewis and Tilda Swinton taking home the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress awards, respectively.
