Jen Aniston Feasts on Italian for Lunch in NYC

Jennifer Aniston may have had a rough morning after her appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly, but she made up for it by having a comforting Italian lunch with friends in NYC.

During a busy day of press promotions for her upcoming film, The Switch, Jen took a break to have lunch at Trattaori Dell'Arte on Thursday in NYC.

An eyewitness tells OK! that Jen was "with a group of friends at a big table" and enjoyed a nice assortment of "pizza, pastas, salads and antipastos."

While The Switch star did eat a slice of pizza, she made up her own "healthy and simple" salad, another insider reveals to OK!. Her salad consisted of mixed greens, avocado ("she loves avocado"), chicken breast, onions and a side of dressing. To drink, Jen kept it simple with an iced tea. 

"Jen comes in here a lot," the source tells OK!. "This is one of her places."

"She's always very nice," the source reveals. "A lot of celebrities come in here: Beyoncé, Steve Martin and Gabriel Byrne. 

"She is very pretty," the eyewitness adds to OK!, "but normal pretty."

While Jen may be pretty and nice, she did not pay the bill —

her friend did that!
