Jen & Gerard's Romance Heats Up!

Besides starring together in the romantic comedy Bounty Hunter, Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are proving their chemistry works offscreen as well as on!

Walking along the beach in Rockaway, N.Y. on July 9, Jen lovingly placed her hand on the sculpted stomach of Gerard, her leading man in the rom-com. Sure, they were on set at the time, but the tender scene played out when the cameras weren't rolling. And when the burly Scotsman wrapped his arm around Jen's shoulder and they walked off together, "it was a given that they were more than coworkers," a friend of the actress tells OK!.

Jen and Gerry: It does have a nice ring, doesn't it? And it certainly seems that it in a year that has seen the former Mrs. Brad Pitt endure a bitter break-up with John Mayer -- not to mention last month's dead-end date with Bradley Cooper -- she may have found the perfect man in Gerard.

"They're visiting each other's trailers and hotels and also having meals at various restaurants," reports a source close to the actress. "She seems pleased by how things are going," a pal tells OK! of Jen's relationship with the 39-year-old Glaswegian. "She seems to feel relaxed and confident with Gerard. It's a nice change after all the drama with John."
