Jennie Garth Opens Up About Split With Peter Facinelli on Reality Show: "It's the Right Thing"

Although the news of Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli's divorce just broke this week, a clip from the Beverly Hills, 90210 star's new reality show proves that there have been problems in their marriage for a while now.

In the clip, posted by ET Online, Jennie is spending time with her two youngest daughters, Lola and Fiona, and filling them in on the relationship between a mommy cow and her calf.
"See how close the baby sticks to his mommy?" she asks her girls. "That's all a baby needs, his momma. That makes a family." Hmm, sound familiar?
Jennie goes on to explain how the distance between her and Twilight star Peter is taking a toll on her, but for some reason, she feels like she's in a good place.

"Being out here on my own with the girls is not going to be easy, but I know it's the right thing for us right now. I feel it in my heart," she confesses. "I'm excited about what's next."

Although she told OK! in 2008, that divorce was "not an option," Jennie and Peter sadly announced that they're ending their 11-year marriage on March 13.
