It is have been a rough road for Jennie Garth as of late, splitting from her husband of 11 years, Peter Facinelli, and having to face the barrage of rumors and speculations of what went wrong.
Making that road even harder is having to do publicity for her new reality show, Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country, where she moves to a farm in the country with her three daughters, Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5. Promoting her new series means having to face even more questions about the end of her marriage, as she did when she appeared on the Today show this morning.

"That is probably the hardest part about it, the timing of everything. When I decided to take this show on, I wasn't headed down this road. It happened in the midde of filming the show. Now I am doing the press circuit for the show and doing interviews and people want to talk about it. I am okay talking about it, but it's not something you really want to talk about," says Jennie.
The actress, however, does admit that being in the country has allowed "a really great perspective, and some clarity." But moving out to a farm to film the show had nothing to do with the end of their marriage.
Jennie shares, "The show was just something that the girls and I wanted to do, that we thought would be fun. The two did not go together at all."
She does admit that she and Peter were trying to work through things, "but as anyone who has been through it knows, it is kind of shocking when it ends up happening. It was sad for our family unit. But we will always be a great family, because we have three beautiful daughters together."

"I enjoyed the quote that I was envious of his fame. There was nothing like that going on. I was very happy for him and so happy to be at home with the kids and enjoying my early retirement. I didn't want to work at that time. I just wanted to be at home on the farm."
Jennie's reality show, A Little Bit Country, premieres on April 20 at 9 p.m. ET on CMT.
