Appearing on Dancing With the Stars isn’t just a great way for celebs to drop a few pounds or add a mirror-ball trophy to their mantle, it’s also a video resume! On the heels of Drew Lachey, Joey Fatone and fellow 90210-er Ian Ziering, season five competitor Jennie Garth is the latest DWTS alum to land a new TV gig as the female lead of the CBS pilot My Best Friend’s Girl. It’s a comedy about two best friends who own a bike shop together. Gears start to grind when one of the guys starts dating his friend’s ex-wife, played by Garth. Fortunately, Jennie won’t be able to do a lot of hands-on research for her new role. She’s been happily married to actor Peter Facinelli since 2001.
