Jennifer Garner was honored last night at the CinemaCon 2012 Awards where she accepted the title of Female Star of the Year at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. But although Jen was thrilled to be presented the award, the mom-of-three, who just welcomed her first son, Samuel Garner, with Ben Affleck, is a little puzzled as to why or how she nabbed the trophy!

"I told my mom the other day I was getting this award, and I was excited and feeling proud and thought she was going to be proud, and then there was this pause on the other end of the line," an esctatic Jen said during her acceptance speech. "She said, 'Jennifer, do these people know you haven't worked in the last year?' I said, 'Yeah, I feel they probably know what I've been up to. I haven't stepped foot on a set. You are correct, mom.'"

Jen admits she's been busy on mommy duty, but it's not like she doesn't want to be back on the big screen, she just doesn't have time!
"She said, 'Can they take this back? Because every time I talk to you, you are breastfeeding, you are running car pool, you are on the library committee — you are not acting!'" Jen added of her conversation with her mom, who quipped, "Honey, you have a weird job."
Luckily Jen has someone by her side who knows just what it's like to have a "weird job," her husband Ben, who she thanked, "for taking over drop-offs and pick-ups and bedtime so I could make it."
