Most of us view butter as nothing more than a condiment, but to some the dairy product is a legitimate artistic medium worthy of impressive sculptures and statewide contests.
Jennifer Garner plays a Type A butter sculptor, Laura Pickler, who's intent on snagging the top award at an Iowa dairy carving competition. Her philandering husband (Ty Burrell) is the reigning butter sculpting champion who finds himself entangled in an affair with a rather saucy Midwestern stripper (Olivia Wilde).

A school-aged orphan, Destiny (Yara Shahidi) is introduced and shows an impressive talent for butter carving also and soon the competition between Destiny and Laura heats up.
