Oh, what a night! The 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors aired last night on TV filled with A-list honorees: Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney, country legend Merle Haggard, Broadway lyricist Jerry Herman and avant-garde choreographer Bill T. Jones. As for some of the highlights? Jennifer Hudson singing "I am Here" from The Color Purple as a tribute to Oprah, Alec Baldwin introducing Paul and Willie Nelson singing the praises of Merle.

Every year The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in D.C. celebrates five individuals who have spent their lives enriching, inspiring and elevating others. And last night was no exception!
OK! NEWS: OPRAH WINFREY ON STEDMAN GRAHAM - "HE'S THE MATE IN MY LIFE"
The celebration was just as big as the talent it praised with Steven Tyler, Norah Jones, Dave Groh, Gwen Stefani and No Doubt singing cover tunes of The Beatles. As for other highlights, Julia Roberts introducing Oprah, Claire Danes and playright Edward Albee praising Bill and President Obama applauding the honorees: "Tonight it is my honor to offer them the appreciation of a grateful nation."
