In a new interview with Extra set to air tonight and tomorrow, Jennifer Lopez talks openly about her desire to expand upon the family she started in 2008 when she gave birth to twins Max and Emme.

“I would love to have more kids," J.Lo reveals, before adding: "I don’t know if we will. I don’t know if that’s in the cards for us but we’ll see.”

Regardless, Jen is happy to not only be back at work, shooting the movie The Backup Plan, but also having the children on set with her. “They’ve been with me almost every day on the set," she explains. "I don’t think they realize what I do. Once in awhile, they look at the monitor and go, ‘Mama.’ They’re just starting to talk.”

And that's not all the toddlers are saying to their superstar mom. “I put Max to bed yesterday… and I said, ‘I love you baby. I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was like, ‘I love you.’”

In The Backup Plan, Jen plays a single woman who conceives twins by artificial insemination only to meet the man of her dreams the same day. The role requires Jen to relive her pregnancy days with the help of a series of gradually growing prosthetic baby bumps.

Jokes Jen: “A bunch of us who have babies, we’re like, ‘It would be great when you are pregnant…You could take it off five times during the pregnancy, only for a half hour. Then you have to put it back on.’ That would be awesome. It would be perfect. But you can’t.”
